HOW TO BOOK FUN FAMILY BEACH PHOTOS

What to wear at the beach for your fun family beach photos
This is your chance to add color and personality to your images. I will pass along a guide for things to avoid, and colors that photograph well. But a fun family beach photos session is your chance to really be you. Building sand castles, get your sunnies out, how about a beach hat? You spend an entire vacation with your children and having images of you with them is a gift forthright future.
KEEP IT NATURAL, BABY! Think about it. If you are supposed to be at the beach, playing with the family, maybe the kids would not be showered. Maybe their hair would be sun dried and salty. Maybe your hair would be on top of your head and out of your face. No one would have shoes on. Your clothes might get wet. Do your clothing choices match your vibe for the beach photos?
What to Bring to family beach photos?
No shoes! A wagon full of towels, water bottles and snacks. Maybe dry clothes if your children do not like to be wet and sandy after the beach. A kite? A book? Beach toys.
I would avoid sunscreen for the session. Typically we would meet at golden hour, which is an hour or so before the sunsets. If you still want to have the kids suncreened up, I would do it well before our session. This gives it time to absorb and not stain your clothes.
