Candid photography is less posed and more real reflections of milestones in your life, captured in an artful way. Our goal is to tell your story and shine light and feeling on the loving connection among your family. We use guided prompts to help you engage with your family and children in a natural, fun way. Sometimes just settling into your environment can give you most unique family photos.
Candid family photography is more in line with lifestyle family photos, rather than portraits or studio work. We want your experience to be laid back and enjoyable.
Though I do find your home to be the best location for your family portraits, I understand that being outdoors adds a new, fresh element to your photos. With more gardens and arboretums than any other area in America, the Philadelphia Area is the Garden capital of the country, offering many beautiful locations for your candid family photos.
For outdoor sessions we explore fields, water, nature. We can gather flowers and roll around in the grass. Lifestyle outdoor photography sessions give you the space to play and create new memories with your family. Think of it more as an evening spent together than a photography session.
Do not worry about finding the location, that is my job! I have a handful of favorites places to photograph, in Bucks County, Philadelphia and on the Main Line.
This session below was taken in Valley forge, close to the Main Line, on a sunny afternoon to celebrate a milestone in this families life.
