Though there are beautiful gardens and greenery in the Philadelphia area, I believe whole-heartedly your home is the best backdrop. First off, this is where you live, where you grow, where you do the work. Secondly, this is where you bring your babies home and raise your children. Lastly, lifestyle maternity photography helps to start the story of your motherhood journey. Especially when paired with lifestyle newborn photography.
Maternity photos are a way to show what life has been. Also, to show what you, in a natural, intimate way. We start with lifestyle maternity photography in your home, on the porch, or around the yard. Siblings and pets are around and we are collecting slices of your life as it is. Then, the second part is to show off your belly!! Lots of skin on skin. This is time for women to feel sexy, celebrated and loved by their partner. For example, we play music, dance and wrap arms around bellies. You will get a moment to breathe and connect with your partner, enjoying an evening together.

If you are expecting a baby this year, a guideline for maternity photography sessions is between 27-33 weeks. That being said, we always work with the comfort of the mother.
