For years (or many months) it has been the three (or four) of you and now you are expecting another baby? The questions I hear most when it comes to hiring a photographer photos is what are we going to do? Also, why maternity photos with toddlers?
REASONS WHY TODDLERS AND MATERNITY GO TOGETHER:
We get caught up in lavish locations and styled outfits, forgetting “the why” behind what we are photographing. Firstly, I want the details, the moments, the little things in your day to day that may seem routine or simple. But those are the tiny treasures that I hold onto. The little hands, the funny faces and all the daily things you do as a family. Secondly, these moments bring warmth, memories and fuzzy feelings in your heart.
These images are taken in two rooms and two rooms only. I could have done the entire session on the couch. There is so much fun, laughter and young energy here! So many little games and stories to tell and kisses to give. Soon this family of three, will be a family of four. This time together will be a chapter in the books.
If you are even thiiiinking about hiring a professional photographer for maternity photos, just do it!! We are creating a session that is unique to you and your family. We capture how you bond as a family, while you wait to add another baby to the mix.
All of my maternity sessions have two parts. A lifestyle, family-type session curated in a personal way. This is followed by some belly out portraits shots. Even if you have just ONE belly portrait, it is worth it. I promise that the future you will be so thankful you said yes and got that belly out.
